imagine yourself on an edge on top of a very high cliff
beneath you is nothing but darkness and you’re overcome with a sudden urge to live
your heart is beating because you know the unknown is right in front of you
even though you came here willingly you’re not sure or what you’re supposed to do
so you meal down and stretch your arms in to the abyss there was no response
but you already expected this you take a deep breath in the hopes that it might trigger something
but your mind stays blank no bells of the bravery to ring you can’t turn back
because back means you’re stuck in that place however jumping into the darkness needs to be done at one’s own pace
take your time take it slow your bravery needs time to grow jumping in without preparation is madness
the fall down will be cold and perhaps endless you close your eyes and dive in with your arms wide open
the wind force kisses you gently then the floodgates thrown open gravity steps in it embraces you
as you spiral in the silence the wind blowing pasture is feels like screams of defiance
as if it doesn’t want you to go in any further but you can’t stop there’s no parachute to break your fall
there is no help coming even if you were to call the only one who can help you is you
and it can only be done by seeing this through you know what you have to do caress the bottom of this dark bay
see the edge of the abyss go as deep as the pain will allow you to reminisce the only hope you must hold on to
is that your fall is broken softly if I softly I mean you can stand after it you can look back at your fall and be proud of it
the screams you let out the pain you set free you decided to stare into the face of your own insanity you walked up to this edge
you decided to do this you knew the dangers you mood of assault could be a hit or miss but you still walked up you still jumped in
you still did it you know each stone in this cliff of pain because you made it ugly what a thing of beauty and
