I mean exactly what I say, but let me try to explain it to you
The first part should be self-explanatory I love you
If you need me Im there for you, might worry about your well being
But with that being said, I still don’t care about you
Let me explain what that means cause some think its me being mean
Its not, I have people who I would give my life for who I don’t talk to
Id give everything I own to, yet we haven’t spoken for years
But they understand that Im not one to be overcome by fears
Not one to be overcome by emotions or this thing called missing you
Im weird like that, regardless of the connection or relationship
I still wont miss you, and I need you to get that
Don’t take it personal, its just that my mind is wired for logic
I always try to have the last word so that when we stop talking
Its because you didn’t reply, its weird but you need to get it
That even if we don’t talk for 6 years, I don’t care
The moment we’re back to talking, Im right back where we left off
As if all the time that passed was nothing more than a tick and a tock
I get how life can get so busy that you lose track of things not in sight
Its about living your life, and calling it “ignoring someone” isn’t right
And if you take it personal, then you and I aren’t meant to be friends
My friendship isn’t based on time or frequency of conversation
But the understanding that if I need u youre there without hesitation
Because that is what you can expect from me, as well as honesty
And that is the beauty of being in a friendship with me
You don’t have to constantly check up on me
You can just do you, and rest assured that I have your back if need be
The reason Im telling you this is because I expect the same courtesy
If our friendship in ur mind loses quality due to lack of talking to me
That means that time is strong enough to break it
What the hell do you think a real issue would do
If seconds can corrode what you call a friendship
Then problems will completely break it, yet with me you wont have that problem,
